How the warrior cat creator works
This warrior cat maker is six rows of buttons and one optional text box. No drawing and no prompt writing.
- 1
Choose a Clan and a rank
ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, SkyClan or Loner, then one of eight ranks from Kit to Leader. These two choices set the body, the pose and the territory behind the cat.
- 2
Pick pelt, eyes, marking and style
Eight pelts from Silver Tabby to Calico, six eye colours, seven markings like Torn Ear or Face Blaze, and four art styles.
- 3
Name it, then generate
Add a name or personality in up to 300 characters if you want, press Generate, and download a square PNG, usually in 20 to 40 seconds.
Why use this warrior cat maker
Your Clan shapes the cat
Each Clan asks for its own build and setting: ThunderClan sturdy in a sunlit oak forest, RiverClan sleek by the reeds, WindClan lean on open moor, ShadowClan in misty pines, SkyClan with strong leaping legs by a rocky gorge.
Rank shows in the pose
Each rank asks for its own pose or prop: a medicine cat with a bundle of herbs, a leader on a rock, a queen resting in a moss nest, an elder with a greying muzzle, a tiny wide-eyed kit.
A wild cat, not a cartoon pet
The default Book Cover style is painterly and semi-realistic. The prompt asks for a natural four-legged cat with no clothes or collars, from ears to tail tip in a 1:1 square.
Odd eyes, scars and torn ears
Odd Eyes, an Old Scar across the muzzle, a Torn Ear and a Short Tail are one click each, so you never have to find the words for them.
Warrior cat maker vs warrior cat generator sites
Most Clan cat tools fall into one of four types. Here is what each one gives you.
| This maker | Dress-up cat makers | Text and name generators | Prompt-box AI tools | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What you get | A painted image of one cat | A layered drawing from set parts | A name or written description | An image from your own prompt |
| Clan and rank | Buttons that change body, pose and setting | Varies by maker | Varies by generator | Only if you describe them |
| Pelts and markings | 8 pelts, 6 eye colours, 7 markings | Whatever the artist drew | Listed, not drawn | Anything you can word |
| Looks like | Book Cover, Fan Art, Cartoon or Chibi | That one artist's style | No picture | Varies run to run |
| Cost | First three cats free, no sign-up | Free | Free | Varies by tool |
Where your warriors OC creator result fits
A square image from the warrior cat maker drops into most places fans share Clan cats.
RP sign-up sheets
Discord, Amino and forum Clans ask for a reference image with each new cat. A square picture fits an avatar slot and a sheet.
Fanfic allegiances
Give your story's main cat a face before chapter one, so you describe the same pelt, eyes and markings in every scene.
Your Clan's key cats
Spend your three free tries on the cats your story turns on, such as a leader, a deputy and a medicine cat. Each run is drawn fresh, so keep Clan and style the same for a closer look.
Reference for an artist
Show a commissioned artist the exact pelt, marking and eye colour instead of describing tabby stripes in words.
A profile picture
Chibi and Cartoon styles read clearly at small sizes for a forum or social profile.
Naming your warrior cat OC by rank
Most fans name Clan cats in two parts: a prefix from nature, like Moss, Ember or Hollow, and a suffix that follows the cat's rank. A common pattern is kit for kits, paw for apprentices, a new suffix for warriors and star for leaders.
This tool draws the cat, not the name, but the two should agree. If you pick the Kit rank, a name ending in kit keeps your RP sheet consistent. Type the name into the description box with a trait or two; it isn't meant to appear on the image, but it keeps your notes together.
Before you press Generate on your Clan cat
You get three free cats in total, so these checks matter more on a warrior cat maker than on a dress-up site.
- Match the rank to the age you want: Kit and Apprentice draw young cats, Elder draws an old one.
- Pick one marking that will make the cat easy to spot in a group, like a Face Blaze or a Torn Ear.
- Check that your pelt and eye pair isn't a famous book cat's; the prompt steers away from canon looks, and so should your idea.
- Use the description for what the buttons can't say: a limp, a leaf in the fur, a nervous look.
- Leave out clothes and collars; the prompt asks for natural cats only.
- Your three free tries let you compare Book Cover and Fan Art. Each run draws a new cat, so judge the style, not one face.
