Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the people who run OC Creator at occreator.net ("we", "us"). By using the site you accept them, along with our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What the site does

You pick an art style and a few traits, and an AI model draws a brand-new character from them. A machine makes the picture, so it can get things wrong: an extra finger, a mark in the wrong place, colors that drift from what you picked. Check each result before you use it.

Fan-made and unofficial

Many pages draw in the style of a well-known game, show or book series. OC Creator is a fan project: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of those series or their owners, and their names are used only to describe a style. The prompts ask for original characters, not existing ones, and we don't use official artwork or logos.

Free use

Every visitor can create 3 characters for free, without signing up. The allowance is per person, not per browser: we track it by network and device, and using extra devices, browsers, VPNs or scripts to get more is not allowed. We may change or pause the free allowance at any time.

What you may ask for

• No sexual content, nudity, gore, hate or harassment, and nothing illegal where you or we are.
• Don't ask for an existing character, a real person, or a copy of someone else's artwork.
• Keep personal details such as real names, addresses or phone numbers out of the description box.

The characters you create

We claim no ownership of your characters; as far as we are concerned you may use them as you like, within the law. Keep two things in mind. A character drawn in the style of a series can still involve that series owner's rights, so fan-style characters are best kept to personal and fan use, and commercial use is at your own risk. And in some countries purely AI-made images can't be protected by copyright, so someone else may get a similar result from similar choices.

Don't present a character as official artwork from any series, and don't use it to deceive or harass anyone.

Things you must not do

• Break the law or anyone else's rights while using the site.
• Get around the free allowance or the rate limits.
• Scrape the site, overload it, probe it for weaknesses or try to reach data that isn't yours.
• Resell the service or build a product on top of it without our written permission.

Our content

The site's design, text, logo and example images are ours. Please don't copy them without permission.

Changes, suspension and ending access

We may change, pause or stop any part of the site. If you break these terms, we may block your access without notice.

No guarantees

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will always be up, free of errors, or that a character will turn out the way you pictured it.

Our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim connected with the site is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is more. Nothing here takes away rights that the law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, so does the date at the top. Using the site after that means you accept the new version.
