Tap a Pony Type, a Coat Color, a Mane Color, a Mane Style and a Cutie Mark. Each row takes one choice, so there is nothing to get wrong.
- 3
Add a detail, then generate

Why this MLP OC creator works for pony fans
Six pony types
Earth Pony, Unicorn, Pegasus and Alicorn, plus Bat Pony with leathery wings and fangs and Crystal Pony with a sparkling coat. No need to know how to describe them.
Framed for the cutie mark
The prompt asks for a square frame, side three-quarter view, standing on all four hooves, so the mark on the flank has the best chance to show.
Three art styles
G4 flat cartoon, G5 glossy 3D or chibi. Our two examples above show the default G4 earth pony and a G5 pegasus with a pastel ombre mane.
Aimed at yours, not a canon pony
The prompt asks the model not to reuse canon color schemes or cutie marks. Our first default came out too close to a show pony, so we changed it. Each run draws a new pony, even with the same picks.

Choosing a cutie mark that tells a story
Fans usually read a cutie mark as a pony's special talent, so the symbol on the flank says what your pony is good at. The eight marks here each suggest a talent: Paintbrush for an artist, Music Note for a performer, Book for a scholar, Lightning for a fast flier, Moon for a night owl.
Pick the mark first, then let it guide the rest. A Moon pony often suits a darker coat, a Flower pony a soft one. If none fits, describe a talent in the box and the mark is still picked from the row.
Before you make your MLP OC
- Pick coat and mane colors that contrast, such as Peach with Teal, so the mane reads clearly.
- Match the mark to the personality you plan to write, not just to a color you like.
- Leave canon names out of the description; describe traits like a star-shaped hair clip instead.
- Write mare, stallion, filly or colt in the box if it matters to you, since there is no row for it.
- With three free tries you can compare up to three pony types, such as Bat Pony and Crystal Pony, in the same colors. Each run draws a new pony, so judge the type, not the face.
